Professional Experience

Mr. Emmetsberger is a Senior Managing Director at B6 Real Estate Advisors where he oversees investment sales in the Chelsea and Greenwich Village territory. Prior to joining B6 Mr. Emmetsberger was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group of Jones Lang LaSalle, where he focused on investment sales in downtown Manhattan. He is actively marketing properties on an exclusive basis to prospective investors and working closely with owners to successfully close transactions. Since 2004, he has been involved in more than $1,700,000,000 worth of property transactions in New York City (160 properties sold). Previously, Mr. Emmetsberger was First Vice President of Sales at Massey Knakal Realty Services, which was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield on December 31, 2014.

On an annual basis, he regularly participates in 20% of all commercial property sales transactions in Chelsea and has set records repeatedly for multifamily and land pricing in the neighborhood. In recent years he has been retained by multiple principals of real estate brokerages to sell their personally owned commercial properties. His most notable 2020 transactions prior to joining B6 include the sale of 340 West 23rd Street for $7,550,000 and 56 West 22nd Street for $48,500,000. Additionally in 2020, Mr. Emmetsberger was responsible for four of the eleven properties sold in the Chelsea neighborhood, amongst other sales he completed in New York City .

Born in Manhattan and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, Mr. Emmetsberger and his wife are 16-year residents of New York City.

Mr. Emmetsberger graduated from Miami University‘s Richard T. Farmer School of Business with a BS in Business, majoring in Finance. He completed a study abroad program in Europe focusing on international account principles and business law. Mr. Emmetsberger also spent a semester at the Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg.
