Neil Heilberg has spent his career pushing the commercial real estate industry forward. From steering New York City’s renowned Massey Knakal Realty Services at the highest levels of strategy and operations, to building a national real estate portfolio from 3 to 8 million square feet, he has consistently proven himself to be a key player and thought leader in the commercial real estate space.
As founding partner and Chief Operating Officer at B6 Realty Advisors, Mr. Heilberg is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm. In addition to directly managing Marketing, Strategic Intelligence, Brokerage Services, Recruitment/Human Resources, and Information Technology, he oversees the company’s Investment Sales and Capital Advisory service lines. Mr. Heilberg is an integral part of the team responsible for architecting and implementing the company’s strategic plan and organizational structure.
Prior to co-founding B6, Mr. Heilberg was a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Massey Knakal Realty Services during the firm’s multi-year run as #1 in New York City commercial investment sales, based on number of transactions. He served on the firm’s Executive Committee during that time. In 2014, Mr. Heilberg played a key role in negotiating the sale of Massey Knakal to Cushman & Wakefield. After the sale was completed, Mr. Heilberg led the integration of Massey Knakal into Cushman & Wakefield.
Mr. Heilberg first served as a Chief Operating Officer at Denholtz Associates, spending 9 years building and overseeing an 8 million square foot development, investment and management commercial real estate company.
Subsequently, Mr. Heilberg was the Executive Vice President at Edison Properties, where he was responsible for asset management and operations of The Hippodrome Building located in New York City and was the strategic and day-to-day management of all aspects of Executive Suites and Pre-Building Suites at the Hippodrome.
Additionally, Mr. Heilberg served as President of Heilberg Advisors, a real estate consulting and advisory firm, where he led projects which included strategy development, capital formation, organizational structure, acquisitions and technology.
Before entering the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Heilberg spent 10 years as President and Owner of Dynamic Hardware Corporation, a wholesale hardware distribution company servicing the New York Metropolitan area.
Mr. Heilberg received an M.B.A in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
