Aaron Birns

Mr. Birns is a Senior Associate at B6 Real Estate Advisors working alongside Director Andy Chen. Aaron specializes in Investment Sales in the Northeastern section of Queens.

Aaron started his real estate career in 2015 at Marcus & Millichap where he directed sales activities including lead prospecting, marketing, and representing sellers on an exclusive basis. Prior to joining B6, Aaron served as an investment sales broker at TerraCRG and Meridian Capital group where he primarily focused in selling investment properties throughout Brooklyn, resulting in a transaction volume of $170M in sales.

Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from Syracuse University.

Andy Chen

Mr. Chen is a Director at B6 Real Estate Advisors, where he oversees investment sales in Northeast Queens markets.

Prior to joining B6, Mr. Chen founded Bold Realty Corp in 2014, a commercial and residential real estate brokerage firm based in Flushing, NY. Previously, he spent 9 years at RE/MAX People Realty. Through his career, Mr. Chen established himself as a top producing broker in the Queens and New York City markets. He prides himself on the ability to maintain close personal connections with extensive network of clients.

Mr. Chen is a first-generation immigrant from Fuzhou, and he has pursued his American dreams with drive and passion. Early in his career, he started a successful Chinese restaurant business in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he spent 9 years running and managing the business before moving to New York City in 2005.

Mr. Chen graduated from Ben Smith High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He currently resides in Port Washington with his family.

Eugene Kim

Eugene Kim is a Director at B6 Real Estate Advisors, where he works alongside Partner, Vice Chairman Thomas A. Donovan, focusing on investment sales in the Queens market. Throughout his career, Mr. Kim has been involved in the sale of over 425 properties with an aggregate consideration of $1.75 billion. Most notably, in 2019 he closed on the sale of The Rego Park 18 Portfolio, an 18-building rent-stabilized multifamily complex in Rego Park, Queens, for $150 million. This was the second largest portfolio sale in New York City for that year and was also nominated for REBNY’s Most Ingenious Deal of The Year Award.

Previously, he was a Director in the Capital Markets Group of Cushman & Wakefield and Director of Sales at Massey Knakal Realty Services.

Jay Li

Mr. Li is an associate on Team Chen at B6 Real Estate Advisors. He works directly with Andy Chen, Director of Investment Sales, servicing the Northeast Queens Market.

As a first immigrant from Hebei, China, Jay moved to the United States with his family in 2012 and joined the the U.S. Army, serving for three years. Since joining B6, Jay has developed extensive knowledge of commercial real estate quickly and has now become a key member of the team.

Jay graduated from Queensborough Community College and currently resides in Great Neck with his family.

Thomas A. Donovan

Thomas Donovan is a Partner and Vice Chairman at B6 Real Estate Advisors, specializing in Investment Sales in the Queens market. His responsibilities include territory management, business development, real estate advisory services and sales. Previously, he was a Vice Chairman in the Capital Markets Group of Cushman & Wakefield, and Partner at Massey Knakal Realty Services. During his career, he has been personally responsible for nearly $2.5 billion of real estate and over 620 properties sold.

In 1998, Mr. Donovan joined Massey Knakal to head up the firm’s first full-service outer borough office. The Queens office has gone from a two-person start-up to a flourishing establishment more than 10 times its original size. He has built a strong presence in the Queens marketplace.

Mr. Donovan graduated from St. Francis Preparatory High School before attending St. John’s University, where he studied business management. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. As a member of the 8th Marine Regiment, Mr. Donovan was an influencing force in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The tenacity, courage and determination he displayed while in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait awarded him a Combat Action Ribbon.

Mr. Donovan’s dedication to serve and protect continued with almost a decade of service as a New York City police officer. In 1997, he turned to real estate and gained valuable experience as a title closer. From there he built relationships and implemented his capabilities into the sale of investment properties.
